Math, Science, and Technology Magnet School

We are kicking off our new expeditions for the 2nd semester. The expedition pieces are designed to provide an in-depth learning experience for students on a specific topic. Some of our topics include Civil Rights, Bees, Newport News, and marshes. Students will reserach their topics and create projects that will be showcased during “Community Day” later in the spring. Please share your thoughts about our expeditions.

Tonight our school is hosting a “Community Night.” This event is where the teachers and students get to show-off a little. We have tables set up around the building for you to see the class exhibits. I know that everyone has been working very hard to make this an enjoyable evening for everyone. As you walk around, please think of comments you would like to leave with us.
